Notice of Parish Election, Impney Ward

We have a vacant seat in the Impney ward and so Wychavon District Council has issued the notice of a potential election as follows:
Election of Parish Councillors For Dodderhill Parish Council for the Impney Ward

Ward Number of Councillors to be elected is ONE.

  1. Nomination papers for prospective candidates may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore, Worcs, WR10 1PT, or by email or phone 01386 565437.
  2. Nomination papers must be delivered by hand to the Returning Officer or Deputies at The Elections Office, Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore, Worcs, WR10 1PT on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 10a.m. to 4p.m (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4 pm on Friday, 24th January 2025. Please make an appointment by calling 01386 565437.
  3. If the election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday, 20th February 2025.
  4. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 4 February 2025. Applications can be made online:

  5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore, Worcs, WR10 1PT by 5 pm on Wednesday, 5th February 2025. Applications can be made online at https://www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote
  6. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 12 February 2025. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-idvoter-authority-certificate
  7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore, Worcs, WR10 1PT by 5 pm on Wednesday, 12th February 2025. Some applications can be made online at https://www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote
  8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore, Worcs, WR10 1PT by 5pm on Thursday, 20th February 2025.
