News of Church and Other Events from the Three Villages. 

This email newsletter will be issued each month and aims to give news and reports of events in the three villages. If you want any news or notices to be included please send them by email to

Church Services

St Michael’s, Stoke Prior.

November 3rd  10.30 am – Communion (for ALL 3 churches )(Pat Barford) This is a service for all the district Stoke Prior, Wychbold and Upton Warren. All are welcome.

November 10th – No Service. People are urged to join the RBL service of Remembrance at Wychbold at 10.15 am..

November 16th 10 – 12am and 2 -4 pm. Church open to welcome Love in a Box Shoe Boxes.

November 17th 5.00 pm – Informal service (Kate Cross).

November 19th 10.00 -12.00 am – Coffee morning organised by Heritage Friends Group.

November 23rd 12.000 – 3.00 pm – Christmas Bazaar

November 24th – No service

November 30th – Christmas Tree Festival opens

December 1st 10.30 am – Communion (for ALL 3 churches ) (Pat Barford)

December 8th 10.30 am – 20 is Plenty. A short service (20 minutes) for younger people with songs and fun stuff.

December 14th 5.00pm – Carols in the Park ( Stoke Heath) with Ray Khan.

December 15th 5.00pm – Carol Service  (Kate Cross).

November 9th  10.00 -12.00am – Community group coffee morning.

November 17th  9.00am – Celtic morning prayer.

November 30th – Quiz night (See details below).

December 15th 9.00 am – Celtic morning prayer.

December 19th 7.00 pm – Carol service led by Hilda Roxborough.

December 24th 3.00 pm – Cribb Service (Jo Collins).

St Mary de Wyche, Wychbold

November 10th 10.15am – Royal British Legion service of Remembrance. This is for all 3 churches and will be lead by Rev Alison Maddox, Dean of Rural churches. Parking space at the church is limited so you may have to park a little way off.

December 24th 4.00 pm – Cribb service.

Halloween event 2nd November

In Stoke Prior Village Hall, Hanbury Road. Starting 6.00pm. Dance performance (thriller) by the Dance Academy  followed by food and games. Followed by a fireworks display on our field next door. Admission by ticket only. Shoe Box Appeal … Love in a Box

Stoke Prior Church will be open November 16th 10 – 12am and 2 – 4pm to welcome boxes. The boxes filled with gifts for children and families in Eastern Europe, who have so little, give lasting happy memories to those opening them. At this busy time of the year your time and generosity are much appreciated. Lin and June wish you a Happy and Healthy 2025.

Christmas Quiz at Upton Warren
Quiz in Church Saturday 30th November – Start 6.30pm. Fish and Chip Supper before. Tickets £13.50 per person available from Coffee and cake mornings on November 9th or from Joanna (01527 861394), Helen (016527 861641) or Lyn (0789 5378884).
Christmas Bazaar
At Stoke Prior Church on 23rd November 12.00 – 3.00 pm. Entry 50p and to see Father Christmas £2. Come to meet your friends and buy your Christmas gifts. Lucky programme prize, Grand raffle,  tombola, china, glass, jewellery, books, toys, cakes and many other stalls.
Christmas Tree Festival 
In Stoke Prior Church 30th November – 5th January. No charge but donations welcome. Display of decorated Christmas trees from local people and organisations – Vote for the one you think best. Why not decorate your tree? £25 to display a tree  Contact Julie Hill 07519 371588 for more information or to book a place.
Parish Giving Scheme

We are still hoping more people will join the Parish Giving Scheme. A leaflet giving details of the scheme is available in all 3 churches. If you have already done so many thanks. If not please consider joining the scheme and giving so that our churches can stay open and continue their work.
