Vacant seats now filled…

Following the resignations of two parish council members in August and September from the Dodderhill ward, a by-election was requested.

Notices of the casual vacancies and possible by-election were issued which resulted in two people being nominated to stand for office. As there were only the two nominations, one for each vacant seat, those two people were automatically ‘elected’ meaning there will be no need to hold a by-election. The seats have been filled without contest.

The two new members for the Dodderhill ward are Alan Humphries and Alex Knudsen.
