Chequers Lane, Wychbold – Affordable Housing

A planning application is being prepared for a proposal comprising 100% affordable housing on land at Chequers Lane, Wychbold. This site has previously been granted planning permission for 36 dwellings (Council ref. W/11/02571/OU, PINS ref. APP/H1840/A/12/2171973, Reserved Matters approval W/13/00618/RM). This consent has since lapsed.

An public exhibition on behalf of Fortis Living and Wychbold Developments LLP has been arranged to view emerging proposals on:

Declaration of an Air Quality Management Area at Worcester Road, Wychbold

In October 2017 Worcestershire Regulatory Services conducted an assessment of nitrogen dioxide levels in the area.  The assessment was based on monitoring data and a detailed dispersion model.  The assessment concluded that the Annual Mean Objective for Nitrogen Dioxide is being exceeded and is likely to continue to be exceeded.

As part of their Local Air Quality Management responsibilities Worcestershire Regulatory Services are consulting the views of local residents.

You must:
• be over 21 and on the electoral register or a resident of the Parish or live within three miles of the Parish as the crow flies or own a business in the Parish
• be able to attend evening meetings every month
• have an interest in local issues
• have a desire to improve the quality of life in the Parish
• be able to represent the views of local people

The position is unpaid and voluntary, but some expenses such as training are paid for by the Parish Council.
